This page is purely here to contain the text from a few official documents/works, whose disclaimers I thought were rather interesting...or just downright weird.
For all us non-U.S. citizens, the form we have to fill in in order to enter America, is the visa form (or waiver). I've filled this form in a few times now, and how silly some of the questions are has just hit me. Now, I'm sure these are pretty standard around the world, so next time you get one of these forms, have a close read...remember, these are Yes/No questions for entering a foreign country.
"Do you have a communicable disease; physical or mental defect disorder; or are you a drug abuser or addict?"
"Have you ever been, or are you now involved in espionage or sabotage; or in terrorist activities; or genocide; or between 1933 and 1945 were you involved in any way, in persecutions associated with Nazi Germany or its allies?"
"Have you ever been arrested or convicted for an offense or crime involving moral turpitude or a violation related to a controlled substance; or been arrested or convicted for two or more offenses for which the aggregate sentence to confinement was five years or more; or been a controlled substance trafficker; or are you seeking entry to engage in criminal or immoral activities?"
"WAIVER OF RIGHTS: I hereby waive any rights to review or appeal of an immigration officer's determination as to my admissibility, or to contest, other than on the basis of an application for asylum, any action of deportation."
